Create a Thematic Map

  1. Click the New button. New Map appears in the maps list.
  2. Click Add Search, and select an object class to search for. The selected object class appears in the searches list.
  3. Use the properties, operator and value drop lists to define a properties search criteria.
  4. Define a color to display results with.
  5. Use the options in the legend builder pop up dialog to create legend expressions.
  6. Repeat steps to add more search criteria.
  7. Click Place Legend.
  8. Do one of the following:

    Click Save map to DGN to save the map in the DGN file.

    or

    Select File > Save to save the map to an external file.
